ARRL/VEC TEST SESSION; US FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS
COMMISSION (FCC) AMATEUR RADIO EXAMINATIONS

Event:	Examinations for U.S. FCC amateur radio licenses

Location:	20th HF/DX Convention Villa Tamba, via Della Selva Pescarola 26, 40131 Bologna, Italy
Directions:	To find the Convention site: exit from tangenziale n° 5 `Quartiere Lame`, follow signs for `ologna centro`, after the railway underway turn right at the second traffic light until you reach a `T` intersection with via Zanardi, then turn right, cross two railway lines, immediately after the second one, on the right, you will see via Della Selva Pescarola. ARI Bologna Radio Club is on the left side of the street, after about 700 meters at n° 26. Coordinates: 44,52520° North / 11,32383° East

VE Team

The VE team includes: AI4CA/IK1PMR (Extra, contact person), AC5YQ (Extra), N7OV (Extra), K2LEO (General), possibly others.
A minimum of 3 Extra Class VEs will be present, so the session will provide testing for all US class licenses.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• We invite you to register to the exam session (it's simple and free, just send us your information, see contact person below) to allow us to better organize the tests; walk-ins will be allowed subject to space and time availability.
• Retesting of failed elements the same day is not normally offered at our test sessions. We may make an exception to this policy only if time permits.
• Make sure you have a U.S. mailing address; you must have use of a U.S. mailing address in order for your FCC paperwork to be processed. The FCC will not mail your license to a non-US address.
  If you have difficulties on this point, email us (see `Contact` section below) and we'll try to help you.
• You are required to bring a legal photo identification (i.e. identity card, driver's license or passport).
• We need the original and a copy of any current FCC license or CSCE. We can't give you credit for elements you've previously completed unless you bring the CSCE.
• The test fee is US$12.00. We will also accept the equivalent amount in Euro as a convenience to you.
• American citizens will need to have their social security number (SSN) or tax identification number (TIN) handy.
