VE Team

The VE team includes: Andrea AI4CA/IK1PMR (VEs liaison and contact person), Claudia K2LEO, Pietro K3EHH, Paolo N8FK, Marco W4MFA, Vinicio N7CIO

The session will provide testing for all classes of US amateur radio licenses.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • We lindly ask you to register to the test session by filling in the online form reported below. This should allow us to better organize the test session.
  • The test fee is US$ 15.00 (all class licenses). We will also accept the equivalent amount in Euro as a convenience to you (about 12.00 Euro).

  • Walk-ins are allowed subject to space and time availability.
  • Make sure you have a U.S. mailing address; you must have use of a U.S. mailing address in order for your FCC paperwork to be processed. The FCC will not mail your license to a non-US address. If you have difficulties on this point, we'll help you and let you use an US address for this purpose (FCC tests) only.
  • You are required to bring a legal photo identification (i.e. identity card, driver's license or passport).
  • We need the original and a copy of any current FCC license or CSCE. We can't give you credit for elements you've previously completed unless you bring the CSCE.
  • American citizens will need to have their social security number (SSN) or tax identification number (TIN) handy.
  • Retesting of failed elements the same day is not normally offered at our test sessions. We may make exceptions to this policy only if time permits (for all interested candidates) and if the VE team is unanimously determined to offer retesting after the standard session.
